SOMETIMES I FEEL THE TWO-DIMENSIONALITY OF THE SUPPORT AS A RESTRICTIVE LIMIT THAT I TRANSCEND BY GOING BEYOND THE SURFACE OF THE CANVAS THROUGH THE USE OF NEEDLES AND THREADS.
MY ARTISTIC RESEARCH REVOLVES AROUND SOME HOT TOPICS THAT HAVE BEEN EXPLORED AND DELVED INTO OVER TIME, THE RESULT IS A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT WORKS THAT RANGE FROM THE TRADITIONAL OIL ON CANVAS, TO THE CHAOS OF COLLAGES, TO THE EXPERIMENTATION OF THE DIGITAL UNIVERSE.
FIRST AMONG EVERYTHING IS THE OUTER - INNER SPACE: THE REPRESENTATION OF THE UNIVERSE IN ITS POLYMORPHISM ALWAYS FINDS ITS WAY IN MY ARTWORKS AND IS DECLINED FOLLOWING DIFFERENT SIGNIFICANCES. FROM THE DETAIL TO THE PRINCIPAL SUBJECT, THE PHILOSOPHICAL RESEARCH OF THE UNIVERSAL SPACE-TIME, IN WHICH THE HUMAN CAN ASSUME INFINITE POSITIONS UNTIL THE COMPLETE SELF ANNIHILATION, COMBINES WITH THE FIGURATIVE.
THE STUDY AND IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF ALL THESE SPARKS LEADS TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ALLEGORIC COSMOS IN WHICH EACH ELEMENT HOLDS A PRECISE MEANING IN RELATION TO THE OTHER ACTORS THAT INHABIT MY PLANETS AND WASTELANDS.EACH LONESOME SETTING TRIES TO CONDENSE AND TRANSLATE IN THE ARTWORKS A SIGNIFICANT EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE, FROM WHICH I TRY MYSELF IN THE FIRST PLACE TO EXTRACT A MEANING PLACED BEYOND THE DAILY SPACE.
THIS SENSE, THAT CAN EASILY BE LOST IF FORCED INTO LOGIC, CAN THEREFORE BE TRANSMITTED ONLY WHEN IT COINCIDES WITH THE ARTISTIC EXPRESSION, FREE AND WITHOUT CATEGORISATIONS.
